Some time ago, I was invited to one of the largest art festivals in Europe, the Parallax Art Fair in London, where artists worldwide come every year to exhibit their work as independent artists, designers, or galleries. I was a visitor to an edition of the festival, and because I liked what I saw, I agreed to go as an exhibitor.
The exhibition I attended as an exhibitor took place in London, at Chelsea Town Hall, on October 20 and 22, and with a private viewing of the event on October 20, 2017.
I completed a series of works that I already had in my studio, and the next year, at that autumn edition, I organized myself to the smallest detail to live up to the event. So, for the Parallax exhibition, I chose 5 legendary portraits from rock music ⇒ Stevie Nicks, Keith Richards, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Bob Dylan.
It was a real surprise when I arrived at Chelsea Town Hall because the image of one of the works in my portfolio (Girl with a Turban) was chosen to appear on the banner displayed at the entrance to the building. 😀
Thank you all for your support and visit, especially my dear friends who stayed with me in Gallery 42 🙂
P.S. The series of portraits of rock music legends will continue!!!
