Girl with a turban
SIZE: 19.7 x 27.6 inches – 0.7 inch deep / (50 x 70 – 1.8 cm)
MEDIUM: Professional grade oil on stretched canvas with hand-painted frame.
The painting is framed, signed by Anca (started in december 2016 – ended in january 2017).
It is a self-portrait interpretation of the artist at the age of 30. The look of the character is a reminiscent of the ‘Girl with the Pearl Earring’ painting of her favorite artist, Johannes Vermeer.
‘Girl with a turban’ signed by Anca was selected for the first time to the international portrait painting competition (200 from 3000 submissions) at National Portrait Gallery, London.
